Mechanical EngineerBoulder, CO (100% Onsite Position Monday - Friday)Duration: Contract 5 months+Start date: ASAPPay range: $40-$70/hr W2 DOEPrimary Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a complete Beta Plant equipment list, including all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation assets. o Collect, organize, and verify equipment technical data, including but not limited to:Equipment specifications and ratingsManufacturer and model informationPower requirements and electrical characteristicsControl and instrumentation detailsReview and extract equipment information from: o Engineering drawings and P&IDsElectrical one-lines and panel schedulesVendor data sheets and submittalsDesign packages and project documentationCoordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, maintenance, operations, and project teamsResolve data gaps or inconsistenciesConfirm equipment scope and functional requirementsAlign equipment data with plant standards and maintenance strategiesInterface with equipment vendors as needed to obtain missing or updated technical information.Ensure equipment data is formatted and delivered in a manner suitable for: o Computerized Maintenance Management System (Limble)Spare parts identificationStartup, commissioning, and turnover documentationTrack and communicate progress, open issues, and risks related to equipment data completeness and accuracy.Support identification and validation of critical spare parts for plant equipment by: o Reviewing vendor manuals, BOMs, and recommended spare parts listsLinking spare parts to corresponding equipment and asset hierarchiesIdentifying criticality, interchangeability, and long-lead itemsSupporting maintenance and stores teams with accurate part descriptions and technical details suitable for CMMS (Limble) and spare parts stocking strategiesJob Requirements:Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineer degree or similar8+ years of experience in post construction, start-up and maintenance scheduling.Welcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
