The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of the fleet administrative staff in support of operations for a large-scale, multi-location fleet (1,000+ assets) within a primarily leased and/or mixed ownership environment. The incumbent for this role will possess basic leadership and management skills needed to manage a team in a high-performance and dynamic environment. The Fleet Supervisor will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders in support of operations, maintain relationships, develop and cultivate synergies where needed, and ensure the highest level of fleet support. Key Responsibilities Administrative Management Conduct fuel invoice research, reconciliation, and weekly coding Coordinate the rental and off-rental of storage units as requested Develop and implement administrative processes that support fleet operations Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting within external and internal systems Manage driver and vehicle assignment in various fleet technology systems – i.e., FleetInsights, GeoTab, Lytx, Verizon, etc. Monitor and troubleshoot telematics systems and LYTX camera issues Oversee vehicle and equipment registrations, insurance verifications, toll transponders, and various other administrative requirements for fleet vehicles Review and reconcile tolls and traffic violations Supervise the administrative staff with day-to-day operations Fuel, Telematics, and Data Analytics Ensure completion of mandatory inspections and compliance requirements Manage reporting frameworks and dashboards to support real-time, data-driven decision-making Oversee asset tracking, telematics platforms, and maintenance systems Oversee fuel programs, fuel card controls, and initiatives to reduce consumption and fraud Support maintenance schedules and service tracking Work with the fleet director to analyze and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), cost per mile/hour, and lifecycle costs Leadership & Team Development Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, success, and continuous improvement Establish scalable processes, desktop procedures, and performance systems Lead, develop, and manage a fleet administrative staff supporting operations across the contiguous 48-US States Professionally support and develop the fleet administrative staff Work Environment & Expectations Hybrid work – office and remote May require occasional field support for fleet-related issues Primarily office-based with frequent coordination across departments Requires consistent follow-up and communication with drivers, vendors, and internal teams Qualifications Experience 1–3 years of progressive management experience in fleet, transportation, logistics, or equipment management Education HS Diploma or GED equivalent Associate’s Degree in Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred Technical Expertise Knowledge of fleet operations, maintenance programs, and lifecycle management Experience with telematics, fuel systems, and fleet management platforms Basic knowledge of analytical processes, formulas, and workbooks Leadership Profile Results-oriented manager focused on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement Preferred Experience Previous fleet administration experience preferred
