Direct message the job poster from Brooksource Team Lead & Professional Technical RecruiterFull stack Engineer Remote On-going contract with potential for full time Job Description Brooksource is searching for anFull stack Engineerto join our Fortune 50 Health Insurance partner as part of a platform expansion project supporting the predictive analytics and cloud engineering group. As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying and maintaining the front-end pieces of a software that identifies fraud, waste, and abuse in medical claims. Daily You Will: Participate and contribute in the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications Provide input on the overall solution design Build and test applications (front-end focus) Meet with business partners to understand business needs Participate in guided mentorship from senior level team members and management Conduct root cause analysis and implement basic performance tuning Responsible for ensuring solution meets business needs Be a part of a fully agile environment Skillset: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in CS, MIS, or any related field) 1-2 yearsof professional expereince Strong background and core coursework inNode.JS(specifically Express framework) Strong background and core coursework inREACT (specifically Material U.I. libraries) Strong background and core coursework in SQL/relational database proficiency Experience in Web Development (HTML, CSS) a plus Understanding of Agile methodology a plus Basic operational understanding of DevOps Familiarity/Experience working with Kubernetes, GitLab Qualities of a Top Candidate: · Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills to work effectively with business partners, peer IT resources, and all levels of management · Passion for technology, including a regularly maintained GitHub · Ability to reason logically analyze and evaluate performance data and information, and draw appropriate conclusions · Eager and excited learned looking to grow current development and application support skills · Ability to multitask effectively · Self-starter and capable of working with minimum oversight · Positive and questioning attitude · “Coachable” and eager to receive feedback Seniority levelSeniority level Associate Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Brooksource by 2x Inferred from the description for this jobMedical insurance Vision insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
