DescriptionJob Title Field Technician Location Virginia Beach, VA, US Organization Name Debt Solutions Work Schedule and Other InformationHRSD seeks energetic, flexible, and team-focused Field Service Technician for the Debt Solutions Work Center.Normal business hours: Monday through Friday, full-time with assigned hours 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM with 30 minute lunch; HRSD is closed on holidays.Customer Care Field Service Technicians perform a combination of hands-on fieldwork throughout HRSD service area and in office administrative duties including outbound customer contact to support the Debt Solutions department. HRSD business needs are subject to change and will dictate the work location.Brief Description Under general guidance, the Customer Care Field Service Technician performs a combination of hands-on fieldwork and administrative duties to support the Debt Solutions department. Fieldwork responsibilities include physically operating water meters to initiate or discontinue service, delivering tag notices to residential and commercial properties within the local community to inform residents of service changes or account-related issues. This role requires frequent interaction with the public in outdoor settings, ensuring compliance with service protocols while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
