About The HospitalAfter Hour Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and want to make a real impact during critical moments, this role is for you.You’ll work alongside experienced emergency veterinarians caring for urgent, trauma, and critical patients while gaining hands‑on experience in emergency medicine.We are a full-service veterinary emergency facility, stocked, staffed, and equipped for your family pet’s unexpected illness or injury. Our in-house lab gets blood results fast and compliments our state-of-the-art imaging including digital radiology, limited ultrasound, and endoscopy. We stock emergency drugs such as snake antivenom as well as blood and plasma transfusion products.You’re Willing And Able ToTriage and stabilize emergency and critical patientsAssist with emergency exams, treatments, and proceduresMonitor hospitalized patients (vitals, pain levels, condition changes)Perform diagnostics including lab work and radiographsPlace IV catheters, administer fluids, medications, and oxygen therapyMaintain accurate medical recordsSupport clients with empathy during high‑stress situationsYou’ll Grow with UsSkillsHere, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
