PET Technologist Location: Charleston, South Carolina Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Day shift: 5x8 hours, with varying start times from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and ending times from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Weekend coverage may be required for PETCT scans if needed due to operational demands. Job Description: The PET Technologist will be responsible for performing PETCT scans in a hospital setting. The role involves ensuring patient safety, managing imaging equipment, and maintaining compliance with all safety standards. A radiation badge is required and must be supplied by the agency. Responsibilities: Perform high-quality PETCT imaging procedures Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to safety protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess the needs of patients Document and report imaging findings in the electronic health record (Epic) Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Minimum 1 year of experience as a PET Technologist Current certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R)/(CT), and SCRQSA in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Experience with Siemens imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols Why ARMStaffing?
