While we have the resources of a large organization, we operate locally with a strong sense of community and autonomy.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training.Utilizes physical agents, including, but not be limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage.Observes and reports to the physical therapist and the Organization personnel the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in patient's condition.Instructs patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.Maintains necessary records; clinical notes and conference notes, which will be incorporated into the patient's clinical record in prescribed time frames.QualificationsActive California Physical Therapy Assistant LicenseMinimum 2 years of physical therapy assistant experience (home health experience preferred)Current CPR certificationReliable transportation and valid driver's license with insuranceStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsCoverage AreaTemecula | Menifee | Murrieta | Winchester | Lake Elsinore | Surrounding AreasAbout Our CultureAt Bella Terra, we live by our Core Values (CAPLICO):CelebrationAccountabilityPassion for LearningLove One AnotherIntelligent Risk TakingCustomer SecondOwnershipWe empower our clinicians to create and implement programs that best serve their patients and communities.Apply Today!If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and want to join a team dedicated to excellence in home health physical therapy, we'd love to meet you!
