Network Site Reliability Advisor/ArchitectPart-time Consulting, Fully Remote Job Overview: The Network Site Reliability Architect will be responsible for creating and implementing benchmarking strategies, adopting and scaling new technologies, and fostering innovation to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our network operations. This role requires a deep understanding of objectives and key results (OKRs), as well as the ability to benchmark industry standards and align key performance indicators (KPIs) with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:Benchmarking & Strategy Development:Develop and implement benchmarking strategies to measure and improve network reliability.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that our strategies align with the latest standards.Provide insights and recommendations for adopting new technologies and scaling them effectively within the network infrastructure.Technology Adoption & Incubation:Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies that can enhance network performance and reliability.Create frameworks for the incubation and scaling of these technologies, ensuring they are effectively adopted across the organization.Innovation & Efficiency:Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies within the Network Reliability practice through innovative approaches and technologies.Develop processes and tools that streamline operations and reduce downtime, ensuring high availability and performance.OKRs & KPI Alignment:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand organizational objectives and key results (OKRs).Benchmark industry standards and identify the most relevant KPIs to measure and report on network reliability.Align network KPIs with organizational goals, providing clear metrics for success.Collaboration & Leadership:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Network Operations, IT, and Engineering, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of strategies.Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.7+ years of experience in network architecture, site reliability engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in developing and implementing benchmarking strategies and adopting new technologies.Strong understanding of network reliability principles and practices.Experience with OKRs and KPI development, with a focus on alignment with industry standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its impact on network reliability.Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud-based networking solutions and hybrid environments.Familiarity with automation tools and techniques for network reliability.Certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
