Hazardous Waste Sales SpecialistA growing environmental services organization is seeking a motivated Hazardous Waste Sales Specialist to support business development efforts throughout the Chicago market and surrounding Midwest region. This role focuses on hazardous waste disposal, contaminated soil remediation, industrial services, medical waste, and environmental compliance solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow new business opportunities across hazardous waste, industrial, environmental, and medical waste service linesManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closingBuild strong relationships with industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, municipal, and environmental clientsIdentify opportunities involving: Hazardous waste disposalContaminated soil transportation & remediationIndustrial cleaning servicesMedical waste solutionsWaste profiling and compliance servicesRecycling and sustainability programsPrepare proposals, pricing, service agreements, and customer presentationsCoordinate with operations, transportation, and compliance teams to ensure successful project executionMaintain and expand existing customer relationships within assigned territoryRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience within the hazardous waste, environmental services, industrial services, medical waste, soil remediation, recycling, or related environmental industryStrong understanding of EPA, DOT, RCRA, manifests, profiling, TSDF operations, or environmental compliance preferredProven business development and account management experienceExperience selling into industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, or municipal accounts preferredStrong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple sales opportunities and projects simultaneouslyValid driver's license requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission structureCar allowance or mileage reimbursementFull benefits packageLong-term career growth opportunity within a growing environmental organizationIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a driven environmental sales professional with strong industry knowledge, an established network within the Chicago industrial market, and the ability to develop long-term customer relationships while driving revenue growth across hazardous waste and environmental service offerings.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
