Non CDL Van Driver

Battle’s Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-CDL Van Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting special needs students for the School District of Philadelphia (SDP). This position involves a split shift, ensuring our students arrive safely and on time for both their morning and afternoon school sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport special needs students to and from school within the designated route. - Provide assistance to students as they enter and exit the vehicle. - Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle. - Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. - Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and transportation coordinators as needed.- Ensure the well-being and safety of all passengers at all times. Requirements: - Must be at least 25 years old. - Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record. - Current DOT medical card. - Previous experience in transportation or working with special needs individuals is preferred. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Punctual, dependable, and able to work early morning and afternoon hours.
