deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Radar System Analyst in Huntsville, AL.Position Description:deciBel Research is seeking a mid-level Radar System Analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform.The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related disciplineExperience Requirements:7+ years' experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs.Proficiency in Linux OSProficiency with scripting languages such as Python or MatlabStrong deductive reasoning skillsProficiency in performing root-cause analysis and ability to clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)Understanding of basic statisticsSpecial Skills Desired:Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMCGeneral knowledge of radar systemsExperience working with Ground Test and Flight Test dataExperience with H5 file formatExperience with data reduction techniquesApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
