In this role, you will assist in a wide range of legal tasks, including conducting research, drafting documents, reviewing contracts, and supporting the legal department in day-to-day operations. We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in conducting legal research on various topicsHelp draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and internal policiesAssist in reviewing and summarizing contracts and other legal documents for key terms, risks, and compliance issuesAssist in maintaining and organizing legal files, records, and documentsHelp prepare presentations and reports for internal teams or external stakeholderSProvide general administrative support to the legal team as neededLEARNING OPPORTUNITIESGain hands-on experience in corporate law, contracts, compliance, and other legal areasDevelop research and drafting skills while working on real-world legal mattersExposure to the internal workings of a corporate legal departmentLearn how legal teams collaborate with business units to mitigate risk and ensure complianceNetworking opportunities with legal professionals and insights into the practice of law in a corporate settingQualificationsCurrently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field OR currently pursuing a J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree or equivalent law degree at an accredited law schoolUnderstanding of legal principles, research methods, and proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious legal internship or coursework related to corporate law, compliance, or intellectual property is a plus but not requiredWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
