Mountain Ltd. has an opening for a Business Development Manager in New Gloucester, ME. This position would follow a hybrid schedule to our New Gloucester office on Wednesday and Thursday.Shape the future. Specialties include OSP/ISP engineering, design, permitting, right-of-way and CAD for traditional and wireless telecommunications companies.Business Development Responsibilities:A business development professional has three primary responsibilities:Identifying new sales leadsPitching products and/or servicesMaintaining fruitful relationships with existing customersWhen it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new marketsResearching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasingContacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetingsAttending conferences, meetings, and industry eventsWhen it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:Preparing presentations and sales displaysContacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's productsDeveloping quotes and proposalsNegotiating and renegotiating and follow up by phone, email, and in personTo keep healthy relationships with clients, this mostly requires socialization. From simple chats on the phone, to lunches, events, or conferences, Business Development Representatives must be sure to keep their customers happy. Documentation is also a big part of the work.
