Our Team Members lift what others cannot and solve the unsolvable.CSI's Core Values:• Show up hungry.• Don't accept average.• Think independently.• Lift as one.Job purposeThe Heavy Haul Driver works closely with escorts and OTR dispatch and is responsible for hauling oversize / overweight loads on hydraulic transporters, trailers, and other hauling equipment. Experience of hauling wind energy components blades, nacelles and towers a plus. The Truck Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and trailers and assists project managers with job planning.Duties and responsibilitiesUsing the company's heavy hauling equipment, drives trucks hauling loads to job sites or customers' other specified destinationsPrepares heavy hauling loads for delivery.Loads and unloads equipment, assembles and disassembles equipment as needed.Other duties as assigned by Hydraulic Truck CoordinatorResponsibilities:Ensure the stability and integrity of all equipment loaded and transported.Oversees the care and maintenance of assigned trucks and trailers.Ensures trucks are kept clean and free of clutter, ensures proper licensing and inspections are kept current and coordinates the necessary maintenance and repairs of equipment.Ensures all safety regulations are followedQualificationsTeam player attitude.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to follow oral and written procedures.Minimum Qualifications & Experience:Must have a minimum of 3 years of consistent safe driving history as a full-time driverMust have obtained a Class A CDL; additional endorsements (doubles/triples) preferredMust be able to pass a DOT Medical Physical and possess a valid medical certificateKnowledge of FMCSA, OSHA and oversize regulationsMust be able to understand and apply established proceduresMust be able to speak, read and write EnglishMust be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) cardMinimum Level of Education: High School Diploma or EquivalentWorking conditionsThe employee may be required to wear appropriate PPE equipment. The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the workplace is moderate.Physical requirementsThe Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires employers to identify essential functions of a role.
