Job Description The Automotive Body Technician is responsible for making repairs to all assigned vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition in accordance with industry standards.Automotive Body Technicians Responsibilities and Duties:Disassemble vehicles and related partsBody work in accordance with the repair planReassemble vehicles once all repairs are completeCommunicate status clearly to shop managerMaintain work area in a clean and orderly mannerFollow all company safety proceduresHigh production capabilitiesDetail-orientedRepair or replace mechanical partsPerform structural repairs and/or replacement repairsPerform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishingRe-assemble painted vehicle and painted partsAutomotive Body Technicians Qualifications and Skills:Positive team-player attitude with a desire to learn and succeed in the industryHigh-school diploma (or equivalent) preferredMust be able to work independently without close supervision, and be flexible/adaptable to constant changeMust have own toolsKeep personal work area organized and cleanJob Type: Full-time
