Job Title- Senior Design– Swimwear, Surf and ApparelLocation-Costa Mesa, California- HybridCategory-Apparel and SwimwearSalary $120,000 plusCompany DescriptionA global lifestyle surf and swimwear brand is seeking a lead designer who has the passion for everything swim and surf.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time position located near Costa Mesa, California, with flexibility for some remote work, for a Director of Designer-Surf and Swimwear. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product design across a range of surf and swim apparel. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, product management, and sales to ensure that our designs meet market trends, drive sales, and delight our customers. You will be responsible for bringing innovative ideas and design solutions to each project.QualificationsStrong experience in swimwear or surf and/or action sports industryMust have experience designing with Big Box Retailers is a plus including Kohls, Walmart, etc.Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, preferably in the surf communityProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same timeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to execute ideas from concept to final productStrong attention to detail and ability to incorporate trends into product designsPassion for design and innovationBachelor’s in design or a related field
