In this role, you will work directly with a variety of suppliers and service providers to ensure cost savings, while achieving the highest quality, and timely delivery for Redaptive.Additionally, you will use your excellent communication skills, project management experience, and industry knowledge to effectively build a supply portfolio in the HVAC/Mechanical vertical. You will also partner with internal stakeholders to develop top-down strategy, drive efficiencies and positively influence company objectives.Responsibilities And Duties:Develop category strategies for the HVAC/Mechanical manufacturing line.Identify and develop a portfolio of qualified supply options. Including onboarding.Lead negotiations with providers in the HVAC/Mechanical space Develop and execute cost models – understand how significant cost drivers impact category strategy.Manage supply base by establishing and maintaining measurable performance metrics for your portfolio.Drive year on year cost savings while mitigating company exposure.Project Management – work cross functionally with internal stakeholders (Ops, Technical Solutions & Engineering, Product, Sales, Partner Management, Legal) to build alignment on both specific projects and category strategy.Contract management – review and negotiate commercial terms – high familiarity with legal terms and conditions.Understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology outlook.Other duties as assignedAdditional ResponsibilitiesDeliver net structural savings on managed spendNew supplier identification and developmentManage, Curate, and Performance Manage your CategoryContract NegotiationSupplier escalation managementRequired Abilities And Skills:Exceptional understanding of supply chain principles and sourcing fundamentals.Ability to effectively negotiate both service and commodity offerings.Build a deep understanding of Redaptive offerings and industry trends within your category.Maintain a sense of urgency and focus.Excellent analytical and project management capabilities.Adaptable, flexible to changing priorities, and excellent problem-solving abilities.Organized with an eye for detail. Follow-up and drive tasks to completion.Excellent presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.Collaboration and influence management skills.Passionate about Redaptive’s mission to transform the way resources are consumed, making buildings better for people, the planet, and the bottom line.Education And Experience:BA or BS degree in a relevant concentration preferred or equivalent experience.8+ years of experience in commodity management/category management/supply chain management/ops.CSCP (APICS) or CPSM (ISM) is a plus.Experience with both commodity and service offerings is a plus.Experience/exposure in any of the following: Lighting, HVAC, electrical, building engineering, building construction, metering, manufacturing, or other related industries.Physical Demands And Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
