Harmony Gardens is a welcoming senior care community where your skills are valued and your dedication to excellent care makes an impact.As a Trained Medication Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant, you will administer medications according to policy, assist residents with personal care and daily activities, monitor vital signs and behavior, and help maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment. Candidates must be listed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and hold a valid TMA certificate from a community or technical college. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is also comfortable working independently. TMA's will additionally be working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Position Type: On-Call Shifts Available (Including every other weekend): Evenings 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Wage Range: $22.50 - $25.90 / hour depending on experience. Shift Differential: $1.50 / hour Location: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109TMA/CNA Responsibilities:Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Harmony Gardens policies.Review and follow a written care plan.Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.Perform other duties as requested.TMA/CNA Qualifications:Must be on the MN nursing assistant registry and have a valid TMA from a community or technical college.Must have completed a minimum of 1,000 hours as a CNA.Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.Cassia Benefits (On-Call):Competitive Pay with experience-based raisesEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family membersESST Earned Sick and Safe TimeOur campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options.
