Program Analysts will support the VA Payer EDI product team by managing the intake, documentation, tracking, and coordination of production issues impacting healthcare data exchange operations. This role works closely with VA stakeholders, operational teams, and technical teams to ensure timely identification, analysis, and resolution of issues affecting EDI transactions and related systems.Key Responsibilities:Manage intake, documentation, and tracking of production issues impacting EDI operationsMonitor and support resolution of issues such as data discrepancies, transaction errors, and system anomaliesAssist in analyzing EDI transactions and data flows to identify and document issuesSupport root cause analysis efforts by gathering data and collaborating with technical teamsPerform data analysis activities, including running SQL queries and reviewing system dataSearch and review transactions and supporting documentation across enterprise systemsSupport troubleshooting of reporting discrepancies and data inconsistenciesParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog tracking and issue management using tools such as JIRACoordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support issue resolution and communicationProvide status updates and reporting to stakeholders and program leadershipMaintain and update documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs)Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance issue tracking and operational workflowsSupport day-to-day operational activities to ensure continuity of EDI-related processesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related disciplineMinimum of 4 years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange, healthcare technology, IT operations, or Agile environmentsExperience troubleshooting system or operational issuesExperience working in Agile environments and using tools such as JIRAStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and coordination skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting federal healthcare programsExperience working within VA or similar environmentsFamiliarity with healthcare IT systems or payer systemsCertification in Electronic Data Interchange or Agile practicesEligibility:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureMust be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this roleCompensation:Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
