If you take pride in quality workmanship and want stability without nights or weekends, we want to hear from you.As a Machine Builder at HPEC Automation, you'll be responsible for building, conditioning, and qualifying automated machinery that meets strict mechanical, electrical, and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesRead electrical schematics and build/wire control panelsReview mechanical drawings and provide design inputAssemble machines and sub-assembliesInstall pneumatic plumbing in automation equipmentCondition tooling to improve fit and machine performanceUpdate/redline tool drawings after modificationsFabricate tooling as requiredPerform quality inspections during qualification and productionOperate machines for production qualification runsMaintain and adjust automation equipment to optimize productionTroubleshoot and debug mechanical and electrical issuesPrepare machines for shipment (securing, crating, re-assembly)Follow HPEC Automation build standards and OSHA & machine safety regulationsAssist with machine manualsMentor Machine Builder I team membersTravel as required to support projects (up to 10%)Other duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications6+ years of related experienceAbility to read product and tool drawingsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAS degree in manufacturing technology preferredIntroductory coursework in control systemsCertified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker preferredWhy You'll Love Working HereCompetitive hourly payFull benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement)Consistent day shift schedule no nights or weekendsOpportunities for career growth and mentorshipJoin a supportive, skilled team committed to quality and safety
