Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants for weekend RHRP Military Exams

Fidé is currently searching for Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to work with us as independent contractors providing exam services to the Military in the state of Missouri. Events are held mostly on weekends that are scheduled one month out from event date, with some occasional weekdays. Reserve Health Readiness Program is the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, program that provides Individual Medical Readiness (IMR), Dental Readiness, and deployment services to Active Duty and Reserve service members geographically remote from military treatment facilities. The RHRP provides Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment readiness services to nearly 400,000 Service Members (SMs) and DOD Civilians annually. Below is a list of services for the RHRP program. Periodic Health Assessment (PHA, DD3024) Mental Health Assessment (MHA) Immunizations Laboratory services (G6PD, HIV, ect.) Audiology Vision Screenings Women's Readiness Pre-Deployment Assessment (Pre-DHA, DD2975) Post-Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHRA, DD2900) Dental Service Readiness Exam Dental Treatment (to DRC 2) - Reserve Component only Physical Exams (some occupational exams) RHRP NP/PA providers are needed in the below states: North Dakota South Dakota Kansas Nebraska Missouri Iowa Minnesota Illinois Wisconsin Indiana Ohio Michigan Responsibilities Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel. Perform review of Health History, Service Member Medical Records, and medical questionnaires. Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns. Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health. Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system. Qualifications Active FNP, NP, or PA license in the state CPR/BLS Certification Experience with Primary Care or Occupational Health - preferred Experience with mobile medical services - preferred Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of service members seen daily Able to work extended hours Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations Able to travel, with weekend availability - preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Basic computer knowledge and skills Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications Fidé is a Woman-Owned Business that focuses on providing top-notch candidates to healthcare facilities in rapid time.
