We celebrate diversity by our commitment to cultivating an inclusive and affirming environment for all.The PositionThe Clinician II focuses on the provision of intensive mental health treatment services to referred and assigned clients and their families. These individuals are experiencing behavioral and/or mental health issues in the school, home, and community settings and currently live in out of home care. The clinician provides direct services, serves as a clinical advocate for clients (and their families) and makes recommendations for mental health support services needed, while actively working collaboratively with resource parents, family supports, and county social workers.Compensation and Benefits:The pay range we're offering is $32.00 to $35.00 hourly depending on experience.Shift: Part-Time, Weekend Coverage for STRTP, Friday (5 - 9pm), Saturday & Sunday (12pm - 8pm).Our people are the heart of our organization, which is why we offer robust benefits to support your health and wellness as well as your personal and financial well-being.Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time OffSick TimePaid Holidays403(b) retirement plan with company match up to 3%Employee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral BonusCredit Union MembershipTraining Opportunities to Further Personal and Professional GrowthQualificationsValid registration or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (ACSW, AMFT, LCSW, LMFT, APCC, LPCC)Prior mental health service experience strongly preferredPrior DMH/DBH mental health experience preferredWord Processing; Excellent Writing Skills, General Office Skills; Typing of 50 WPMBi-Lingual (Spanish) highly preferredMust pass a pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screeningAbility to commute to various sites on campusAbility to bend, stoop, kneel and lift 10 poundsDOJ, FBI, Child Abuse IndexInsurability Under Corporate Automobile InsuranceKey ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary clinician for a caseload for clients enrolled in McKinley's intensive programs (i.e. Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program, Full Service Partnership-Adult)Provide mental health services including individual and family counseling, specialized groups as needed in the schools and or community.Consult with an interdisciplinary team for initial assessments and treatment needs.Meet with each child/family for individual/family therapy at a minimum of 2x on a weekly basis (or as clinically indicated).Plan, implement and provide mental health services to clients and their families.Believe that people can change; demonstrate an ability to set limits and intervene appropriately to meet the needs of the children and families served.For STRTP Program; Clinician will maintain close contact with school personnel regarding each client's academic performance and behavior.Meet regularly with an interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment objectives, status, and progress.Provide crisis intervention as requestedRemain on call for clinical emergencies.For the STRTP program, clinicians provide direct services to children and families in the school, home and/or in the community.Participate in the agency's on-call rotation.Participate in chart reviews and other QA functions.Maintain all required documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with contractual and regulatory standards.Attend all required supervision, department and agency meetings.Take responsibility for the on-going development of professional skills.Attend all required agency training.Participate in the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan as assigned.Other related duties as assigned.Why Should You Apply?Our Mission- work for an organization that makes a real difference in people's livesCompetitive paySeveral benefit optionsEmployee tuition reimbursementGreat training for staffJoin McKinley to Be Your Best H.U.M.A.N.
