The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and polished professional capable of prioritizing work, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills, professional communication skills, flexibility and teamwork.Job ResponsibilitiesSome job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Administering and problem-solving issues on multiple Linux platforms (RHEL and CENTOS)Building scripts in ansible, bash and other to automate services inside of Linux instancesAutomating cloud services in AWS and Azure for processing, networking, storage, security and other resourcesSupporting help desk tickets as they come up and solving technical issues rapidly for enterprise deploymentsWorking in development and production environments with configuration management, documentation, and solid communicationHandling multiple tasks and working independently as well as a team memberLeading brainstorming sessions to gather requirementsQualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in related fieldPreferred: Master's degree in related fieldExperience and Skills:At least five (5) years of experience in Linux System AdministrationExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to logically think through problem situationsLinux Kernel tunables knowledge - security, network (TCP, UDP), and memoryStrong knowledge of design, implementation, and support of networked systems and technologies such routers, switches, file servers, DNS, and LDAPStrong technical background in DevOps with experience working in AWS or AzureExperience architecting and supporting highly available and highly scalable infrastructureSolutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on creativity and relationshipsProcess orientation, capable of creating new processes, or significantly redesigning existing processes to align with changing business requirementsStrong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topicsComfortable with a high degree of ambiguityAbility to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgencyExceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skillsPosition requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
