JOB OVERVIEW Join our team of dedicated music educators at Destiny Studio as an Instructor. We are seeking passionate and skilled individuals who are committed to nurturing confidence and fulfillment in our students of all ages and skill levels. RESPONSIBILITIES Teach high-quality private lessons (voice and/or instruments) to students of all ages and skill levels Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your first scheduled lesson each shift to prepare for the day Submit weekly student lesson notes in LessonMate to support progress tracking and parent communication Maintain a clean and professional teaching space by resetting your lesson room after each session Serve as a mentor and confidence coach to every student, applying our Artist Pathway Curriculum Prepare students for showcases, recitals, and other studio performance opportunities Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to foster a supportive, fun, and professional studio culture Assist with studio events, workshops, themed parties, and community engagement opportunities Communicate clearly and positively with students, families, and team members. Participate in regular professional development, training sessions, and team-building activities QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Musical training and/or performance experience Ability to teach private lessons confidently and competently Passion for people, especially children and teens Strong interpersonal and communication skills PREFERRED: Degree or coursework in Music Education, Performance, or Music Business Proficiency in a secondary instrument (piano/guitar/drums highly preferred) Experience with early childhood or group music instruction Comfortable working with studio software (Opus1), GSuite, and Canva PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Enthusiastic, dependable, and proactive Willing to learn and teach within our coaching philosophy Self-motivated and able to operate with a self-employed mentality Kind, encouraging, and team-oriented Shares our love for people, parties, and performance BENEFITS Competitive pay based on experience All curriculum, training and resources needed to do the job effectively Opportunity for advancement and growth in this position and leadership in the company A dynamic and collaborative work environment with a passionate team Employee Lesson Discount Benefit: After 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for discounted lessons. A 50% discount is available for the employee, their spouse, and dependent children. A 25% discount is available for siblings. Only 1 discount per employee.
