At Aerotech, you will:Removes burrs of excess metal from and reduces sharp surfaces of precision machined partsMust be able to recognize and use hand tools such as a file, tri-blade, drill, etcOperation of CNC & manual bandsawMatching blueprints to raw materials and travelers per the correct part number and revisionBasic blueprint readingLoads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucksDelivers metal parts or stock to designated work areas for machiningReclaims metal chip bins from machining centersAssists in regular inventory cycle countsAdditional duties: Responsible for respirator care and maintenanceRefilling of machine lubricant reservoirsBasic upkeep of shop organizationAs assignedKnowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosEffectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organizationAbility to write simple correspondenceKnowledge to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsSkilled at applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsBasic computer skillsMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)One to three months of related experience and/or training in a machine shop or similar environmentMust be able to recognize and use hand tools such as a file, tri-blade, drill, etcEquivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredOne to three months of related experience and/or trainingBenefits:Aerotech has been advancing industries with our precision motion technology for more than 50 years.
