About the role: Inspire’s Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manages tax filing for Inspire family of companies while working as a liaison with external CPA firm. Creates and maintains clean financial books and records according to GAAP principles. Maintain financial books and records including QuickBooks management, bank account reconciliation, weekly cash reports, quarterly finance reports and expense forecasting. Advises senior leadership on corporate finances to be used in decision making. Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. Implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk. Oversees the production of periodic financial reports and ensures that the reported results comply with GAAP. Oversight and management of cash movement for the family of companies including bill pay, accounts receivable, and debt management. Works with external auditors and provides needed information for audits. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in QuickBooks online and other accounting and tax preparation software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred. Five years or more of related experience required. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
