Senior ServiceNow Developer **

Senior ServiceNow DeveloperCGI is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer – Core Platform to develop, enhance, integrate, and troubleshoot ServiceNow capabilities within a mature, highly customized enterprise environment.The developer will work across Incident, Problem and Change Management, Service Catalog, workflows, forms, approvals, and ServiceNow integrations. A significant part of the role involves investigating complex issues across years of existing configuration and customization, understanding technical dependencies, and ensuring enhancements do not introduce regressions or unintended downstream impacts.This position requires broad ServiceNow experience rather than expertise limited to a single module. The successful candidate should be comfortable navigating layered customizations, troubleshooting platform and vendor issues, and implementing enhancements while maintaining production stability.This position is required in one of the following locations: Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL or Columbia, SC.Your Future Duties and Responsibilities• Develop and enhance ServiceNow Incident, Problem and Change Management functionality.• Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, forms, and approvals.• Build, enhance, and support ServiceNow integrations.• Investigate complex defects across existing configurations and layered customizations.• Identify technical dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts before implementing changes.• Troubleshoot workflow, catalog, integration, platform, and vendor related issues.• Evaluate regression risk and ensure enhancements do not negatively affect existing functionality.• Implement new ServiceNow capabilities as business requirements evolve.• Use Now Assist and AI assisted development tools where appropriate.• Work with ServiceNow developers, administrators, platform owners, process owners, integration teams, vendors, and other enterprise stakeholders.• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting findings, dependencies, and implemented changes.• Provide technical guidance during complex troubleshooting and platform issues.Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role• 5+ years of hands on ServiceNow development experience.• Strong ServiceNow core platform development experience across multiple functional areas.• Hands on experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management.• Strong Service Catalog development experience, including catalog items, workflows, forms, and approvals.• Experience developing and supporting ServiceNow integrations.• Strong troubleshooting skills within mature, heavily customized ServiceNow environments.• Ability to understand layered configurations and determine how multiple customizations interact.• Experience assessing technical dependencies, regression risk, and downstream production impacts before making changes.• Ability to troubleshoot complex workflow, catalog, integration, vendor, and platform issues.• Experience working across multiple ServiceNow functional areas rather than specializing in only one module.• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.• Strong communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.Desired Skillset: Preferred: Now Assist, AI assisted development tools, vendor issue troubleshooting, experience adopting new ServiceNow capabilities, and major platform upgrade/release experience.Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.CGI's benefits are offered to eligible professionals on their first day of employment to include: Competitive compensation, comprehensive insurance options, matching contributions through the 401(k) plan and the share purchase plan, paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick time, paid parental leave, learning opportunities and tuition assistance, wellness and well being programs.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, ethnicity, ancestry, color, sex, religion, creed, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, pregnancy, medical condition, military and veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, and gender expression, familial status or responsibilities, reproductive health decisions, political affiliation, genetic information, height, weight, or any other legally protected status or characteristics to the extent required by applicable federal, state, and/or local laws where we do business.CGI provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
