Bilingual Case Manager for Crisis Intervention
Job OverviewEAC Network is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Case Manager for our Alternatives For Youth Program, based in Hauppauge, NY. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers an exceptional benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401K options, along with generous Paid Time Off (PTO).Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive home-based crisis intervention and case management services for client families.Assist Spanish and English-speaking families in navigating crises related to PINS petitions, with a focus on fostering stability.Conduct thorough assessments utilizing the Child and Adult Needs Assessment (CANS) instrument to formulate a Family Intervention Plan that aligns with family needs, applying a strengths-based approach.Ensure appropriate referrals to partner agencies and maintain communication with service providers to track family progress.Facilitate behavior management techniques, supporting both parents and youth.Maintain accurate progress notes and case records in compliance with contractual obligations.Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.Organize and conduct educational workshops and recreational events for adolescents as directed.Required SkillsProficient communication skills in both oral and written forms in English and Spanish.Strong interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with families in crisis.Competence in utilizing computer applications including Microsoft Office and database software.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree, complemented by at least one year of experience in child and adolescent services, community or social service work.Completion of a minimum of 20 hours of training within the first six months of employment, and an additional 20 hours during the subsequent six months on relevant topics, including crisis intervention and substance abuse.A valid New York State driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.Career Growth OpportunitiesAt EAC Network, we prioritize professional development and growth, providing ample opportunities for training and advancement within our organization.Company Culture And ValuesEAC Network fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment, emphasizing our commitment to community service and support for families in need.
