We have immediate openings for candidates to score the subjects below remotely for our Hadley, MA office:
Instructional Technology
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or higher, and
A current teaching certification in the subject area you are applying for AND be practicing or have two (2) or more years’ recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area you are applying for
OR serve as, or have recently served as, a college/university/program faculty member who prepares candidates for the subject you are applying for
and MUST NOT be a current Georgia educator/based in the State of Georgia.
Both active and recently retired practitioners can be eligible to score.
Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
Eligible to work in the United States
Overall Responsibilities
Evaluate responses to test questions by Georgia teacher candidates
Internalize scoring standards, participate in discussions, and engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities
Recognize and discuss various types of bias (e.g., implicit bias, cultural bias, leniency bias, central tendency bias, halo effect) and effect strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring
Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program, including passing a qualifying test before scoring
Key Benefits
Starting rate of $17.50 per hour

Working Conditions
Scoring sessions take place during the week Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur on five consecutive days every 8 weeks. The scoring day runs from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., including training. 40 hours of work are available every 8 weeks.
Training takes place before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs.
