Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals while adhering to company standards and methodologies. Duties Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Manage project timelines, scope, and budget while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors. Ensure financial accountability and adherence to budgetary constraints. Conduct requirements management to gather and document project specifications from stakeholders. Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, or VersionOne to track progress and facilitate communication among team members. Implement lean and Agile methodologies to optimize processes and enhance project efficiency. Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies. Monitor project scope management to identify potential changes or risks that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies. Facilitate regular project meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment among team members. Collaborate with stakeholders to design program structures that meet organizational goals while fostering innovation. Key Qualifications (REQUIRED): PMP Certification 3+ years of experience managing projects related to DFCS, OCSS, or FFS. Proven experience in implementing IT solutions. Goal: To support the implementation of a new software system in Georgia. At least 3 years of experience supporting DFCS (Division of Family and Children Services), OCSS (Office of Child Support Services), or FFS (Family and Financial Services) projects. The position will also coordinate with other vendors in the implementation. Must be able to attend meetings as required near the Atlanta/Gwinnett/Dekalb area. The team is a one-year contract with the option to extend up to four years. Skills Experience overseeing software integration and managing software lifecycle processes. Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage financial resources effectively. Proficient in requirements management to ensure all stakeholder needs are met. Expertise in project planning techniques and methodologies. Familiarity with lean principles and Six Sigma practices for process improvement. Experience using MS Project, Jira, or Trello for project tracking and collaboration. Excellent scope management abilities to handle changes efficiently throughout the project lifecycle. Ability to create and manage project documentation including requirements, test plans, and implementation strategies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement. Additional skills a plus: Data Management: Familiarity with SQL, data migration, and database management principles. Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience leading teams in an Agile environment. Enterprise Software: Experience working with ERP systems, CRM tools, or other enterprise-level software. Proven experience in implementing IT solutions within government sectors.
