Through the readily set up, comprehensive, and self-governing teams, we let our Clients focus on their business while we make sure that their software products and data tools scale up accordingly and with outstanding quality.We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Senior Database Administrator (Azure & SQL) and participate in our up-and-coming project.You can expect to:Lead administration, provisioning, and lifecycle management of Microsoft SQL Server environments (Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server on Azure VMs, and on-premises).Own SQL Server performance management and tuning in Azure and hybrid environments (query optimization, indexing, capacity planning, troubleshooting).Design, implement, and validate backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery strategies.Architect and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On Availability Groups, Azure Failover Groups, replication).Define and enforce database security, compliance, and governance standards (RBAC, encryption, GDPR/HIPAA).Establish monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Drive automation and DB Ops practices using Infrastructure as Code, PowerShell, T-SQL, and Azure CI/CD pipelines.Lead incident response and root cause analysis for database incidents.Collaborate closely with application teams to review designs and guide schema evolution.RequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience with SQL Server or other relational databasesProficiency in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries and stored procedures.Good understanding of data security, integrity, and compliance practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to lead stakeholders and propose creative solutions.Communicative EnglishBenefitsFully remote work model from PolandProfessional training programs.Work with a team that is recognized for its excellence.
