Senior Director of Origination

Our client, a well known and innovative Independent Power Producer in the U.S., is seeking an experienced leader to drive engagement with external stakeholders. This role gives the candidate the opportunity to contribute to a large, diverse portfolio of power origination projects as well as drive innovative change in an industry where needs and policy are constantly evolving.The Senior Director of Origination will be responsible for:Staying up to date with market/policy knowledge (FERC, ISO, RTO) and relay information to internal and external stakeholdersCreating and maintaining relationships with internal partners, utilities, and customersStructuring proposals and other materials (RFPs, power sales, etc.) to take to market, promoting development of company strategy and portfolioUnderstanding and taking into account risks associated with any and all potential partnerships/deals to be executedInterfacing and presenting to C-Suite and external investment partnersRepresenting the company at major networking events and conferencesA Qualified Candidate will possess to following:7+ Years experience in deal structuring/origination tied to energyPrior/current experience managing direct reports across multiple locationsMust have a network of utilities and other customers in the market (data centers if applicable)Bachelor's DegreeThe selected candidate will have the opportunity to represent a very well respected group in the industry with strong financial backing, and work with stakeholders to drive strategy/innovation that will influence the industry as a whole.Please apply directly.
