Field Service Engineer

Job Description:Schedules and provides technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.Tests and troubleshoots Franklin Electric products. Supervises and assists at product installations.Promotes and represents Franklin Electric products and programs at tradeshows and special events. Conducts product demonstrations as needed.Collects and reports marketing information pertaining to competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, and customer needs or desires.Acts as a liaison between field, product management and engineering departments.Writes and submits timely and accurate reports, as well as special reports needed to highlight problems at specific sites and/or with certain customers or products.Able to use mechanical and electrical tooling such as pipe cutters, wrenches, voltmeters, etc.Performs other related duties as required or assigned.Requirements:Associate's degree in engineering, computer technology, or a related technical field (required).Bachelor's degree (preferred).Five or more years of technical, field service, or related fueling systems or industry experience (preferred).Intermediate: Contact management, presentation/PowerPoint, spreadsheet, word processing / typing.Basic: CAD / site plan scaling knowledge.PEI or API certifications (Preferred)Benefits: Becoming a part of the Franklin Electric team not only provides outstanding benefits, it also opens doors to opportunities for future growth.
