Front Desk Pet Service Associate

If you love dogs and enjoy creating a welcoming, upbeat experience for people and their pups, Amarillo Fetch is looking for an energetic, dog-loving team member to join our family. This is an active, fast-paced role that combines client service, admin tasks, and hands-on pet handling. You’ll be on your feet, assisting clients and pups, and helping keep daily operations running smoothly. This is not a sedentary or sit-at-the-desk receptionist position, you will be moving through-out the day. About the Role As the first friendly face our guests meet, you’ll set the tone for a positive experience. You’ll warmly greet clients, guide them through check-in/check-out, manage communication, and assist with the movement and care of dogs throughout their stay. Your role supports both our front desk and pet care teams to ensure a seamless Fetch experience. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and check in/out guests for daycare, grooming, and lodging Answer phones, respond to emails, schedule appointments, and communicate with clients Record guest notes and preferences accurately in the system Process payments and handle transactions Send out daily report cards Prep meals and portion food Move dogs between services (daycare, grooming, lodging) Assist with general operations throughout the facility Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Support the team with a positive, proactive attitude What We’re Looking For Active, reliable, and hardworking, with the ability to stay on your feet and move throughout the day Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and the ability to work independently Trustworthy, punctual, and customer-focused Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and confidently handle dogs of various sizes Previous customer service, administrative, or pet care experience is a plus — but we will train the right person Willingness to cross-train to understand all departments Schedule Requirements Must have open availability during the weekdays from 7am -3 pm Must have reliable personal transportation Why Join Us?
