CNC Operator - The Role This role is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level machinist to enter into a specialized manufacturing organization. In this role you will learn how to machine "flawed parts" for testing purposes. These parts are used to calibrate equipment and train inspectors. CNC Operator (Mill & Lathe) Experience Level: Entry-Level / Technical School Graduate to experienced What You Will Do Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes to machine parts according to specific engineering blueprints. Understand that the "flaws" are the product. You must follow exact coordinates to place defects within tolerances Work with a variety of industrial metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-nickel alloys Maintain records of each parts "as-built" dimensions to ensure the flaw matches the NDT requirements. Monitor tool wear and perform basic offsets and tool changes to ensure consistent output. What You Will Bring High School Diploma and 3 years CNC maching experience OR completion of a recognized CNC Machining program or Technical College certificate Basic knowldge of G-code and M-code. Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints and GD&T symbols. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges)
