This position requires strong clinical, administrative, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend department staff meetings and participate in required in-service training programsCross-train to support new procedures and additional departments as neededGreet and check in patients by verifying coverage and eligibility and completing required documentationAnswer and triage telephone calls in accordance with departmental procedures, routing calls appropriately and taking accurate, legible messages when necessarySchedule patient appointments and verify membership and benefit coverageSupport back-office clinical functions as assigned (vitals, immunizations, injections, point of care testing, lab draws, occupational health testing)What We Expect From You:Graduate of approved MA program OR on the job training with CCMA prior to hireCurrent BCLS requiredAt least 1 or more years of front and back-office experiencePhlebotomy skills in the work setting requiredSolid computer and documentation skillsExcellent customer service and communication skills requiredTeam orientedStrong time management skillsResponsible and reliableAbility to be flexible and adapt to operational needsAbility to work 8 hour shifts and full time 40 hours/week within the following clinic hours:Monday/Wednesday: 7:00 am - 5 pmTuesday/Thursday/Friday: 7 am - 3:30 pmBonus Points For:CMA or RMA CertificationPhlebotomy CertificationEPIC experienceEKG experience preferredCustomer-centric FocusDynamic personalityPlease note, this role is based full-time in our health center in Fort Myers FL.We offer benefit eligibility from the first day of employment, Paid Time Off, Short and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401k with company match, Continuing Education, Career Development and a variety of other perks.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
