Robert Half is seeking experienced Attorneys to support a large public‑sector organization’s labor relations and collective bargaining operations. This is a long‑term, fully remote engagement focused on administrative labor matters, not traditional courtroom litigation.You’ll work closely with an established labor relations team handling grievance proceedings, arbitration preparation, and employment‑related appeals in a highly structured and professional environment.This role is ideal for attorneys with backgrounds in labor law, administrative proceedings, or comparable legal work who are looking for steady, meaningful contract work with a respected organization.Position Details Start Date: May 2026Duration: 1 year with a possibility of extensionLocation: RemoteHours: Monday-Friday; EST business hoursPay Rate: $40-$42.50 per hourScope of WorkIn this role, you will:Review collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), internal policies, and arbitration decisionsResearch labor‑related grievances and contractual claimsDraft written materials such as:Case summaries and internal memorandaEmployer position statementsWitness outlines and correspondenceParticipate in pre‑arbitration grievance conferences as an employer representative or hearing officerDraft grievance conference decisions and supporting documentationAssist with appeals involving employment terminations or performance ratingsPrepare reports, recommendations, and submission materialsRepresent the client in arbitration hearingsConduct legal research related to labor and administrative mattersUse Zoom and Microsoft Teams to participate in hearings and meetingsUse Adobe Acrobat to organize exhibits and hearing documentsQualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school3+ years of legal experience preferredExperience with labor relations, collective bargaining, administrative proceedings, or similar legal work strongly preferredFamiliarity with teacher negotiations, employee discipline, or dispute resolution is a plusAdmission to any US license jurisdiction is required.
