Steward

The Steward is responsible for performing F&B inventory duties by receiving and storing of all food, supplies, and necessary materials for the kitchen department. Provides internal guest service by effectively communicating with kitchen staff to ensure daily orders are fulfilled for various department, assists with daily inventory and maintains an organized and sanitary storage area. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $18.80/hr and increases to $19.70/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Experience & Requirements:One year experience in a high volume full service restaurant Must be able to handle receiving food, supplies and materials for the kitchen and take daily inventory Knowledge of proper food storage procedures required Must have valid Washington State food handler's card Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours The ability to lift up to 40 pounds Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment Additional Requirements:Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
