This position will float to our White Plains, New York office.Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and rotating Saturdays and holidays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern TimeCompensation: $20 to $25 per hour (commensurate with experience)This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.How You'll ContributeAt US Fertility, collaboration is fundamental to how we work. Whether collaborating with more than 200 highly respected physicians nationwide or partnering with colleagues who are passionate about solving meaningful problems, you'll be surrounded by a team committed to shared success.In this role, the Medical Assistant will:Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautionsSet up, stock, and maintain supplies for the blood drawing stationsEnsure lab specimens are sent to proper labsDocument patient care services utilizing daily logs, electronic medical records, and appropriate outside laboratory formsUtilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels, ensure orders for lab work are in placeCheck patients in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments clinical care of fertility patientsSet up rooms for procedures, take vital signs, obtain patient height and weight, assist with procedures as needed, clean and stock rooms and care for equipment according to manufacturer and OSHA guidelinesMaintain patient medical records through the use of electronic medical recordsWhat You'll BringWe're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experienceindividuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications and Skills Include:Strong phlebotomy skills requiredHigh school diplomaCompletion of a certified or formal medical training program preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience preferredComputer proficiency requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communicationMore important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
