Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Report any anomalies with Standard Operating Procedures to Supervision/Team Lead.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company Health & Safety policy.
Always follow Environment Health & Safety policy and report accidents and incidents to Supervision/Team Leader.
Participate and follow ILU Training Matrix to support the flexibility of the operation.
RequirementsPerson Specification Material Handler Criteria Knowledge and Experience. • 2 to 3 years knowledge of working in Logistics/Manufacturing environment. • Forklift experience required. • Experience of working in a team. • An understanding of environment health and safety regulations. • Aware of manual handling techniques. Education/Qualification • Material handling equipment (MHE) certification. • First Aid/Fire Marshall qualification (desirable). Other • Must be flexible to work shift patterns as well as overtime when required.
Tasks • Safety of all employees, visitors, customers and contractors in your designated area. • Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks on material handling equipment. Report any issues to Supervision/Team Lead. • Ensure correct PPE prescribed for duty is always available and worn. • Full participation in daily job rotation schedule. • Embrace on-the-job training to increase skillset. • Learn all applicable operations within the department. • Follow and clearly understand training by certified trainers. • Attend classroom trainings required for performing the process. • Cooperate fully when Lucid Production System audits covering Manual Handling, Driving Standards and Standard Operation Procedures are carried out. • Understand key performance indicators for each duty carried out. • Follow Standard Operating Procedures. • Perform 6S duties (Housekeeping) throughout the shift, ensure 6S materials are returned to specified area. • Escalate issues that require additional support to Supervision/Team Lead. • Communicate any safety incidents and risks to Supervision/Team Lead following company policy. • Participate in daily team huddles for key information communicated by Supervision/Team Lead. • Achieve team targets that support the departments goals.
