Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Molder Lead for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location in our organization, the Molder Lead has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments.POSITION SUMMARY:Prepares and operates molding press to process/produce a high-quality product. Ensures production continuity of press lines. Troubleshoots equipment and processes as the need arises. Assists operators with documentation and processes. Ensures molding records reflect the accuracy of the day's production. Fills in for Molding Supervisor & Assistant Operations Manager as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Sets up press-checking tonnage, cure time, temperature, speed control, etc.Retrieves preforms/extrusions/inserts for job.Cuts/prepares material for molding at the press.Loads preforms/extrusions into the preheater.Loads preforms /extrusions into the mold.Molds parts at all skill levels.Operates press according to job specifications.Cleans up around press/work area during cure time.Unloads parts from the mold.Inspects parts for flaws.Helps troubleshoot molding of rejected parts.Completes all required "trimming at the press."Cleans mold and equipment in preparation for the next shot.Records time and work on labor tickets each day.Checks production records for job completion and upcoming assignments.Communicates with support departments as necessitated by production needs.Assigns presses if necessary.Assists employees as needed.Communicates all production/press-related information to the next shift Press Operator, or shift Supervisor.Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Fills in for supervisor when neededAssists with mold installation as neededAssists with material handling between departmentsTrains press operators at all levelsMoves molding materials from the staging area to the press lineAble to relieve and fill in during lunch breaksQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSMinimum of one-year related experienceGeneral experience in a production environment filling a supervisory roleAbility to multi-taskProblem-solving/decision-making skillsAbility to prioritizeAttention to detail and accuracyConversion of weights and measuresComprehension of written and verbal communication skillsProblem-solving skillsBasic mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged standing/walkingThe repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder, or neck movementKeyboard workOccasional forceful hand graspAbility to readOccasional bending/twisting/crouching and squattingUse of vibrating toolsAble to hear and speak clearlyLifting, pulling, and carrying up to/in excess of 50 poundsReaching from shoulder level or below/over shoulder levelFrequent climbing of ladders/scaffolds/step stools and stairsAbility to see to distinguish colors, prepare/analyze figures, prepare/review documents, and to visually inspect itemsUse of machinery and machinery that produces excessive heatAbility to endure a hot work environmentWORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:* Exposure to extreme heat for more than an hour* Bright environment or lightingAn E-Verify EmployerUn empleador de E-Verify
