This role is a backfill due to a team member relocating and will focus heavily on application delivery, load balancing, and web application security in a primarily Cisco-centric environment.The engineer will support on‑prem data center infrastructure, working closely with senior network engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and security of mission‑critical clinical and business applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support load balancing solutions in an on‑prem environmentAdminister and support Citrix NetScaler / Citrix ADC and F5 Load BalancersManage and tune:Web Application Firewall (WAF)Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)Content SwitchingRewrite & Responder PoliciesConfigure and manage:SSL certificatesDNS integrationTwo‑Factor AuthenticationNetScaler GatewayPerform network packet capture and traffic analysis for troubleshootingPartner with firewall and network teams on:Cisco Firepower FirewallsWeb application securitySupport broader network operations across:LAN, WAN, and wireless environmentsData centers and clinical sitesParticipate in architecture discussions and solution design initiativesSupport rack‑and‑stack, build, and operational support as neededTechnology EnvironmentLoad Balancing / ADC: Citrix NetScaler / Citrix ADCF5 (on‑prem)Networking: Cisco (enterprise environment)Cisco ACI (data centers)LAN / WAN / WirelessSecurity: Cisco Firepower FirewallsWeb Application Firewall (WAF)Authentication / Security Services: SSL/TLSTwo‑Factor AuthenticationDNSTeam & CultureClose‑knit, highly collaborative Network Engineering team7 engineers total, all within the network team4 out of 7 engineers have 10+ years of experienceTeam members
