Territory Manager – Medical Device Sales

We are looking for a proven, self-motivated Territory Manager for our Washington, D.C. region who understands that in high-value medical sales, success is built on a foundation of relentless activity and deep professional trust. Our sales reps manage a portfolio of up to 5 best-in-class, high-end devices that provide in-home recovery options. Call points include Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Vascular, Pain Management, and Physical Therapy, giving our sales managers broad opportunities across a market region.This is an established territory with a solid foundation of existing accounts and tremendous opportunity for continued growth and expansion. We need an ambitious professional who can provide high-level service to our current partners while continuing to break ground with new growth opportunities. This role requires a high-velocity "hunter" mentality balanced with the sophisticated follow-through of a clinical consultant. You will act as a seamless extension of the clinics you serve, providing direct patient support including bedside fittings as a core part of the sales process.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive & Market Penetration: Aggressively identify and generate new business by securing meetings with physicians and other staff within VA Hospitals, large health systems, and specialized private practices.Clinical Partnership: Build high-trust relationships by becoming an expert resource for surgeons, MDs, and their teams. You are the reliable partner who ensures their treatment plan is executed perfectly.End-to-End Management & Follow-Through: Take full ownership of the sales cycle. From the initial pitch to navigating documentation and final patient delivery, you ensure every step of the process is handled with speed and precision.Direct Patient Care: Own the "last mile" of the sale. You don't let things slip through the cracks and you have the high follow-through required to see complex orders across the finish line.RequirementsProven Sales Success: 2–5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the medical space.Clinical Comfort: A natural ability to work in diverse patient environments and a willingness to be hands-on with specialized medical technology.Interest or Expertise in the DC Metro Area: Strong local market knowledge and a desire to build a dominant presence in DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.Operational Excellence: Exceptional follow-up skills and the ability to manage a self-directed schedule without oversight.Compensation & CultureTarget Earnings: $200,000+ (year 1 target w/ base salary + uncapped commissions).Professional Freedom: This role has a tremendous amount of autonomy and flexibility. Therefore, success requires a self-starter mentality, strong organizational skills, and high follow-through.
