Construction Project Manager – Marine / Heavy CivilWe are an established, family-owned construction firm specializing in marine and heavy civil construction projects. Our work spans residential, commercial, and public sector projects across the state, and we continue to expand into new markets.We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in marine or heavy civil construction. This role is responsible for managing projects from buyout through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from initial review through execution and serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership across project functions including cost control, scheduling, planning, engineering, and field operationsManage projects from estimation through closeout, coordinating with internal teams and external partnersPrepare and review construction documents and ensure alignment with project goalsOversee submittals, code compliance, and consultant coordinationInterface with regulatory agencies and stakeholders as requiredReview plans and specifications for accuracy and completenessEnforce jobsite rules, procedures, and safety standards in collaboration with safety personnelDefine project scope, goals, and deliverablesForecast resource needs and manage personnel and materials effectivelyMaintain strong client relationships and communicationTrack and forecast project costs and financial performanceLead, mentor, and develop project team membersSupport business development and new project acquisition effortsEnsure subcontractors fulfill contractual obligations and scope of workCommunicate effectively with field staff, subcontractors, and leadership on schedules, methods, safety, and quality expectationsQualifications3+ years of experience managing marine or heavy civil construction projectsProficiency with scheduling and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, HCSS, Sage, B2W, or similar)Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordStrong organizational, leadership, and project management skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsDetail-oriented with excellent communication skillsProven ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and consultantsWhy Join Us?We are a growing, family-owned organization that values team development, leadership, and long-term success.
