JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Outpatient Therapist Reports to: Clinical Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person FLSA Status: Exempt Location: 3424 Paesanos Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78231, USA About Us – Windmill Wellness Behavioral Health Windmill Wellness Behavioral Health is a nationally recognized leader in comprehensive mental health treatment. General Description The Outpatient Therapist provides direct clinical services to adult clients in a modern outpatient mental health setting. Responsibilities include individual therapy, group therapy, family work, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, case management, collaboration with psychiatric and neuro-based treatment providers, and adherence to Windmill Wellness Behavioral Health clinical standards. RESPONSIBILITIES General responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide individual therapy sessions (minimum 5 clients per day). Develop and facilitate 8‑week therapeutic groups, minimum 4 cycles per year. Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, psychometrics, and treatment planning. Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically sound documentation. Coordinate care closely with psychiatric providers, QEEG staff, Brain Frequency™ clinicians, and TMS providers. Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation and clinical meetings. Work in partnership with psychiatric staff for medication‑therapy alignment and treatment planning. Communicate changes in client status, risk, and progress to the team promptly. Engage with administrative, psychiatry, and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Develop group curricula based on client needs and evidence‑based practices. Facilitate psychoeducational, process, or skills‑based groups, consistent with group expectations in internal materials. Track attendance, participation, treatment response, and outcomes for each group cycle. Perform other assigned duties as determined by management based on program needs Practice within scope of licensure and uphold all ethical and regulatory standards QUALIFICATIONS Required: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field Active, unrestricted Texas license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in good standing. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient or similar mental health setting. Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and meet documentation standards Demonstrated competency in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and complex mental health presentations. Strong organizational skills, time management, and clinical judgment Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Ability to pass background check; ability to provide health and TB clearance Desired: Experience treating treatment-resistant depression. Experience working alongside psychiatric providers. Experience facilitating structured outpatient therapy groups. Training in evidence-based trauma modalities (EMDR, CPT, PE, etc.).
