We are dedicated to exceeding client expectations and turning undefined projects into successful outcomes.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote Construction Project Manager role located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The Construction Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project operations, coordinate construction activities, manage project budgets, and ensure adherence to schedules. The role will require effective communication with stakeholders, reporting on project progress, and resolving issues to meet project goals. This position demands a proactive approach to achieving project quality, schedule, and cost objectives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction. Read, interpret, and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.Arrange, coordinate, attend, and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site. Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor. Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules.Draft project-related correspondence.Understand and document inspections during and post-construction, as well as mock-up inspections.Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality, and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes, and safety standards.Deliver reports, reviews, evaluations, and design work to the Government Contracting Officer (GCO).Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow-up.Coordinate on-site staff assignmentProvide technical review of proposed modifications to the contract and make recommendations to the GCO. Maintain records and files of correspondence, site conference reports, shop drawings, RFIs, addenda, change orders, and supplementary drawings issued subsequent to award of the construction contract.Coordinate with the construction contractor's quality control (inspection) personnel in accordance with NFC 46-12 -- Inspection of Construction.Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:An accredited degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering (structural, mechanical, civil, or electrical) with a minimum of 10 years of practical field experienceMinimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required.Knowledge and experience with construction practices, including applicable building codes, applicable safety regulationsKnowledge of cost estimating with breakdown of labor, materials, and equipment costs for proposed construction contract modifications.Ability to evaluate payment requestsAbility to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications.Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skillsKnowledge of software, including MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ProjectTeam, Primavera, MS Project, and any other software programs typically utilized Maintain a valid driver's license.Qualified applicant must be able to pass a background check.Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to walk and climb stairs or ladders on a daily basis to observe and inspect contract performance.Must be familiar with NAF/FAR and DOD regulations to assist in the administration of the construction contract.What Does PSI Offer You?Three options for medical plans plus dental and vision insurance offerings24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenienceHSACompany life insurance options for you and your familyShort-term and long-term disability offeringsPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs401(k) with a 4% employer matchGenerous PTO, paid federal holidays, and sick leaveAlways the opportunity for professional development
