Project Manager (Proposals & Technical Writing)
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in proposal development, technical writing, and financial tracking to support critical public health initiatives. This individual will play a key role in managing grant documentation, tracking funding, and supporting high-impact programs within a laboratory sciences environment.Job Title: Project Manager (Proposals & Technical Writing Focus)Job Type: Contract-to-HireLocation: Richmond, CASchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay Rate: $45.00 – $50.00/hourWhat You’ll DoLead and manage projects related to grant funding, proposals, and financial operationsTrack budgets, expenditures, and funding allocations across multiple projectsPrepare detailed financial reports, summaries, and analyses for leadershipDevelop and maintain technical documentation, grant proposals, and program reportsManage and organize documentation for grant submissions and compliance requirementsSupport grant administration lifecycle, including reporting, invoicing, and documentationPartner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive operational efficiencyMonitor project timelines, deliverables, and ensure alignment with funding requirementsIdentify risks and support mitigation strategies to keep projects on trackWhat You’ll Bring3+ years of experience in project management within life sciences, public health, or a regulated environmentStrong experience with:Budget tracking & financial analysisGrant funding and administrationProposal writing and technical documentationExcellent written communication skills (this role is heavily documentation-focused)Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentEducationBachelor’s degree required (Business, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field)PMP or similar certification is a plus (not required)This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
