The ideal candidate will have experience in writing and managing proposals for government contracts, specifically in the low voltage (security, cameras, data, fiber, VoIP, edge computing), wireless (cellular, private LTE, WIFI, radio) and maintenance/monitoring of these networks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent writing skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee requirements, write, and edit technical proposals for government bids in the low voltage and wireless space.Collaborate with estimators on what to bid and how to arrange the numbers.Relay info to technical experts, project managers, partners, and management to gather necessary information.Ensure proposals are compliant with government regulations and requirements.Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines.Review and revise proposal content to improve clarity, coherence, and persuasiveness.Maintain a repository of proposal templates and past proposals for future reference.Stay updated on industry trends and government procurement processes.Search and communicate with applicants that fit the needs of the process to use their resumes on proposals to fill the project’s requirements.Qualifications:Degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical proposal writing for government contracts.Strong understanding of low voltage networks and wireless technologies including future options and opportunities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with federal, state, and local government procurement processes.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in proposal writing.Certification in proposal management (e.g., APMP).Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Flexible working hours and remote work environment.Professional development opportunities.Paid time off and holidays.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, cover letter, and a writing sample to acquisitionstelecom@intelecom.us.Please include “Technical Proposal Writer Application” in the subject line.---Subcontractor Terms and Conditions:Thank you for wanting to be a part of our company. Once we translate the initial salary to USD, this amount will stay the same throughout the course of the payments, even if currency exchange rates may change weekly. Payment is on a bi-monthly basis by Paypal/Payoneer (or another payment app that works for both of us).
