Space Operations Knowledge and Portfolio Manager

Job DescriptionSigmatech is seeking highly motivated candidates with the desire and aptitude to develop and maintain the Knowledge Management Plan for Space Delta 3 (Electromagnetic Warfare). This position is responsible for developing and implementing the Space Delta 3 Commander's knowledge management plan. Thisplan will be used by the Command staff to help create business performance improvement and is centered on personnel management and systems both internal and external to the organization. This task consists of the following activities:Conduct current state assessment of the organizations readiness to become a knowledge organizationGathering information on the organization, its strategy and mission, as well as its processesConduct interviews and information sessions with internal and external stakeholdersDocument information and process flowsConduct business process re-engineering efforts as necessary such as revised Delta naming conventions and file drive managementAdditionally, This Position Is Responsible ForCoordinating meetings for Space Delta 3 systems in development or modificationArranging secure video teleconferencesTracking action items in concert with each system's government Weapon System LeadsProviding Space Delta 3 internal and external tasker routing, coordination, review, and compilation of materials on behalf of leadership for review/approval/submissionTracking completion of Space Delta 3 directed tasks needed to address the broad range of portfolio advocacy topics (e.g., electronic taskers, congressional inquiries, verbal taskingsProviding recommendations and/or documentation (e.g., briefings, point papers, summaries) prepared by Delta 3 action officers in response to higher headquarters/senior officer taskingsRequired ExperiencePrevious DoD Management experienceProficient in Microsoft Suite of softwareExcellent communication, organizational, writing, and briefing skills.
