Job SummaryThe Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is a key contributor within the Accounts Payable department, responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role offers valuable exposure to various AP functions within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of growing with evolving business needs. The Senior AP Specialist reports directly to the AP Manager.What You Will DoCode and enter Non-Purchase order invoices to route for approval in the accounting systemAssign new credit cards to recipients in Centresuite as neededCode and attach receipts for all retail utilities paid on the AP utility credit card and balance to the bank statement Responsible for setting up new users in Concur and making any updates to current usersReview all credit card expense reports, for coding, receipts and business purposes weeklyMaintain Utility Portal workbook and retail utility tracking workbook for all retail locationsProcessing and clearing of autopay utility bills from Tipalti, reconciling to the bank statements on a weekly basis Setting up new utility bill portals on autopay and paperless billing as new retail accounts are set upReview and approve Concur reimbursement expenses weekly and prepare file for Payroll reimbursementsFormat bank statements and upload weekly for USPS, Allegiance and Fullsteam for manual bill clearing for month end Other ad hoc tasks as assigned RequirementsAll levels of education are permitted to apply3-5 years of AP experience preferred Ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally as issues ariseAptitude to learn new applications quickly such as MS Office, accounting software, etc.Ability to work efficiently while having a strong attention to detail with critical thinking and maintaining confidentiality Self-motivated, both independently and in a team environmentAbility to work from the office 2-3 days a weekAdapt to change as the Company grows About Consumer CellularFounded in 1995, Consumer Cellular is the first wireless provider unapologetically built for Americans 50+.
